BEAR (Alpha) is an asymmetric survival horror game by Cheedaman. Each round, one player is chosen to play as the Bear while everyone else becomes a Survivor. Survivors must complete puzzles and survive until the timer runs out; the Bear must track down and eliminate every Survivor before time expires. Rounds are short, fast-paced, and full of jump scares - here's how to get started.
Learn the round structure
At the start of each round, the game assigns one random player as the Bear. All other players become Survivors. A countdown timer begins - if at least one Survivor is alive when it hits zero, Survivors win. If the Bear eliminates everyone first, the Bear wins.
Play as a Survivor
As a Survivor, your goal is to stay alive until the timer ends. Move constantly, avoid open areas, and memorize the map's layout including shortcuts and hiding spots. Completing puzzles around the map can shorten the round timer or grant rewards, so work on them when the Bear is far away.
Play as the Bear
As the Bear, you are faster and stronger than Survivors. Hunt players down, cut off escape routes, and use your speed in open areas. Listen for puzzle interactions and watch for groups of Survivors clustering together - catching multiple players at once can swing the round instantly.
Earn and spend Quidz
Winning rounds and completing puzzles earns you Quidz, the in-game currency. Spend Quidz in the shop to unlock new Bear and Survivor skins. Redeem codes for bonus Quidz to speed up your collection.
Master the maps and puzzles
Each map has its own puzzle set - cheese puzzles, color codes, wire puzzles and more. Learn where every puzzle spawns so you can complete them quickly while keeping an eye out for the Bear. Experienced players win by efficiency, not luck.

Halloween events brought spooky decorations across maps, limited Bear and Survivor skins, and special badges. Halloween 2019 was the first major event, and its skins became some of the most sought-after cosmetics.
